A stock market index is a measurement of the value of a section of the stock market. It is computed from the prices of selected stocks — typically a weighted average. Trading indices as CFDs means you speculate on the price movement without owning the underlying shares.
From the US30 and NAS100 to the GER40 and JPN225— ZeonFX gives you access to the world's most traded indices from a single account.

Common questions about
indices trading
What are stock market indices?
A stock market index tracks the combined performance of a group of companies. For example, the S&P 500 tracks the 500 largest US companies by market capitalisation, giving you a broad view of US economic health through a single number.
How are indices calculated?
Most major indices use market-capitalisation weighting — companies with a higher market cap have a proportionally greater influence on the index value. Some, like the Dow Jones, use price-weighting. Each index has its own methodology published by the exchange.
What is the difference between trading indices and stocks?
Stocks represent ownership in a single company. Indices represent a basket of companies, providing instant diversification. Index CFDs also allow you to trade with leverage and to go short, which is not straightforward with individual shares.
What hours can I trade indices?
Index trading hours vary by market. US indices like SPX500 and NAS100 are most active during New York hours (9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET). However, index CFDs at ZeonFX often have extended hours so you can react to after-hours news.
